All course prices displayed or quoted by The Hub of Knowledge (THK) are exclusive of applicable Value Added Tax (VAT), unless expressly stated otherwise. VAT and any other applicable taxes shall be payable by the delegate or payer in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations governing the place of training or service delivery.
Unless specifically agreed in writing with THK, course fees do not include travel, accommodation, meals, transportation, or other personal expenses incurred by delegates while attending a course. Any such expenses arranged in advance through THK's training management team will be subject to separate charges and agreed terms.
THK accepts major credit and debit cards, including American Express, as applicable.
Where a Purchase Order (PO) is issued, the payer must provide the relevant Purchase Order number, full invoice amount, scheduled course dates, and complete invoicing and contact details.
If two or more courses are booked together, the full amount for all booked courses, including applicable VAT, must be paid before the commencement of the first scheduled course. The complete invoice amount shall become payable in accordance with the agreed payment terms.
THK reserves the right to withhold examination vouchers, examination arrangements, certifications, certificates, or other related deliverables until all outstanding payments have been received and cleared.
Where applicable, cancellation or administrative charges may be deducted from any amount refundable to the payer.
By completing a booking or making payment through bank transfer, deposit, telephone, credit card, debit card, American Express, or the official THK website, the payer and delegate acknowledge and agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.
Where a valid Purchase Order is provided, a separate booking form may not be required unless otherwise requested by THK.
A Purchase Order represents the payer's formal authorization and commitment to purchase the specified products and/or services. All Purchase Orders remain subject to THK's cancellation, rescheduling, rebooking, payment, and other applicable policies contained in these Terms and Conditions.
Orders placed directly through the THK website are non-cancellable and non-refundable, unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing by THK.
For bookings made outside the THK website, the payer must submit a written cancellation request in accordance with the applicable cancellation period.
Cancellation requests should be submitted at least 20 working days before the scheduled course commencement date.
Where applicable, the following cancellation charges shall apply:
USD 517 + VAT per delegate for applicable courses.
For specific programmes such as Lean/Six Sigma and PMP®, the cancellation charge shall be USD 915 + VAT per delegate.
Courses priced below USD 265 may be subject to a 100% cancellation charge.
Any applicable refund will be calculated after deduction of the relevant cancellation and administrative charges.
The payer may request a change to the scheduled course date, subject to availability, by providing sufficient written notice.
Requests made at least 20 working days before the course commencement date may be accommodated subject to availability and THK's confirmation.
Where a rescheduling request is made within 20 working days of the course start date, a rescheduling fee of USD 385 + VAT may apply for a single date change.
For specific programmes, including Agile, PMP®, and Lean/Six Sigma, a rescheduling fee of USD 915 + VAT may apply.
The applicable rescheduling fee must be paid immediately following confirmation of the revised course dates.
Where a refund has been approved by THK, the refund will normally be initiated and processed within 30 working days.
Refunds will generally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction. Any payment-processing surcharge, bank charge, transaction fee, or similar non-refundable fee will not be refunded.
Course fees must be paid in accordance with the agreed payment terms following confirmation of the booking.
THK reserves the right to amend course prices from time to time. Any price applicable to an already confirmed booking will be governed by the terms agreed at the time of booking, unless otherwise stated.
Refunds will normally be processed in USD (US Dollars). For international transactions, currency conversion differences, bank charges, transfer fees, or other applicable charges may be deducted from the refund amount.
Examination vouchers are non-refundable, including where a related course booking is subsequently changed, postponed, or cancelled.
Delegates who wish to postpone a Practitioner examination for personal or other reasons may be required to pay an examination rescheduling fee of USD 385 + VAT.
The examination must be rescheduled within the applicable period specified by THK and, where required, within 20 working days before the first day of the associated course.
Foundation examinations may not be eligible for rescheduling.
Delegates must notify THK of an examination deferral request within 24 hours of the scheduled examination date and time, where applicable.
THK reserves the right to make reasonable changes to any part of a published course, including course content, dates, trainers, venues, delivery methods, schedules, or other arrangements.
Where material changes are necessary, THK will notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable and, where appropriate, provide alternative arrangements.
THK may cancel or reschedule a course due to circumstances including, but not limited to, insufficient enrolment, trainer unavailability, trainer illness, venue-related issues, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Where a course is postponed or cancelled by THK, reasonable alternative options may include:
An alternative training date;
Virtual instructor-led training;
An alternative training programme;
E-learning or digital course materials; or
Another mutually agreed training arrangement.
THK makes reasonable efforts to ensure that published information is accurate. However, occasional typographical, administrative, pricing, scheduling, or other errors may occur in course pages, quotations, invoices, brochures, course materials, or other documentation. THK reserves the right to correct such errors when identified.
Training dates and locations may be confirmed following booking and may be agreed with the customer based on availability and suitability.
THK will not be responsible for additional expenses incurred by the customer as a result of changes to a course, venue, or programme unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
For residential training programmes, THK will make reasonable efforts to arrange accommodation at the training venue or, where this is not possible, at a suitable nearby hotel, preferably within reasonable walking distance.
If course materials or courseware are delayed in transit for reasons outside THK's reasonable control, THK will make reasonable efforts to provide replacement materials as soon as practicable.
Where necessary, temporary or electronic materials may be provided to allow the training programme to continue.
THK shall not be responsible for providing refunds solely due to delays in the delivery or transportation of physical course materials where such delays are outside THK's reasonable control.
If a delegate fails to attend a scheduled classroom or instructor-led course without providing prior notice or obtaining THK's approval, the booking may be treated as cancelled due to non-attendance.
In such circumstances, the full course fee may remain payable and no refund will normally be provided.
It is the customer's responsibility to review and understand the course description, eligibility criteria, prerequisites, technical requirements, delivery format, and other requirements before making a booking.
THK's employees and representatives may recommend courses based on the information provided by the customer. Such recommendations are intended to assist the customer in identifying potentially suitable learning options and do not replace the customer's responsibility to review the published course information.
Unless otherwise agreed, THK courses are delivered in English. Delegates should have sufficient English-language proficiency to understand the course content and participate effectively.
Any additional requirements requested by the customer may be subject to additional charges depending on the nature and complexity of the requirement.
Admission to a THK training programme requires a confirmed booking and completion of the required registration and payment procedures.
THK reserves the right to refuse admission where a delegate has not completed the required booking, documentation, identification, payment, or other registration requirements.
Unauthorized attendance or entry into a training session may result in further action by THK.
Where a course is booked on behalf of one or more delegates, the payer is responsible for ensuring that all delegates receive and understand the applicable:
Terms and Conditions;
Joining instructions;
Eligibility requirements;
Course prerequisites;
Technical requirements; and
Other relevant booking information.
For onsite training, the customer is responsible for providing suitable facilities, equipment, and working conditions required for the delivery of the programme.
Depending on the course requirements, these may include:
Training room;
Projector and projector screen;
Flipchart or whiteboard;
Suitable seating and workspace;
Required computers or technical equipment;
Internet access where required; and
Appropriate refreshment facilities.
If the trainer determines that the onsite environment does not meet the reasonable requirements necessary to deliver the training safely and effectively, THK reserves the right to postpone, suspend, or cancel the session.
Trainer travel, accommodation, transportation, meals, and other reasonable expenses for private, onsite, or closed-group training will be charged as agreed at the time of booking and/or as specified in the applicable Training Booking Agreement.
THK is not responsible for delays to physical course materials caused by postal services, courier companies, customs, weather, transportation disruptions, or other circumstances outside THK's reasonable control.
Where physical materials are delayed, THK will make reasonable efforts to provide them as soon as possible or provide suitable electronic/online alternatives where available.
A delay in course-material delivery caused by circumstances outside THK's control shall not, by itself, entitle the customer to a refund.
All intellectual property rights relating to THK's course materials, training content, documentation, presentations, workbooks, exercises, assessments, and other proprietary materials remain the property of THK or the applicable rights holder.
Unless expressly authorized in writing, customers and delegates must not:
Copy or reproduce course materials;
Sell, resell, rent, lend, or distribute course materials;
Publish course materials online;
Share materials with unauthorized persons;
Modify or create derivative versions of the materials; or
Use THK course materials for commercial training or redistribution.
Course materials are provided for the personal or organizational learning purposes for which they were purchased.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, THK's liability for any claim arising directly from a course or service shall be limited to the amount paid for the particular course or service giving rise to the claim.
THK shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or unforeseeable losses, including loss of profits, business interruption, or loss of anticipated savings, except where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
THK shall not be responsible for loss or damage arising from computer viruses, malware, unauthorized software, security incidents, or other technical issues originating from systems outside THK's reasonable control.
Where a customer books multiple courses, failure to attend one or more of the scheduled courses does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund or credit.
Any course not attended without prior approved cancellation or rescheduling may be treated as a non-attendance.
Delegates are responsible for the security and safekeeping of their personal belongings, valuables, documents, electronic devices, and other items brought to a training venue.
THK shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings unless such liability is imposed by applicable law.
THK's Fair Usage Policy applies to access and use of online learning platforms and course materials.
Course enrolments, access credentials, fees, and login details are generally non-transferable and non-refundable.
Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, access to e-learning and online learning content will normally be available for 90 days from the date of purchase.
Extensions may be available upon request and may be subject to additional charges.
THK reserves the right to implement reasonable operational restrictions, including bandwidth or platform usage limits, to maintain fair and reliable access for learners.
THK makes reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date online content but does not guarantee that all website or e-learning content will always be complete, current, or error-free.
THK may update, modify, replace, or improve course content from time to time in order to maintain the quality and relevance of its learning programmes.
Unless otherwise stated, online assessments associated with e-learning programmes are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
Customers must not directly or indirectly solicit, recruit, employ, or attempt to hire THK employees without THK's prior written consent.
Customers may communicate with THK employees regarding their existing training booking, contractual arrangements, or other legitimate business matters.
Where a customer breaches this provision by directly or indirectly recruiting a THK employee, THK may seek compensation equivalent to 50% of the employee's gross annual salary, subject to applicable law.
THK may assign, transfer, or otherwise deal with its rights and interests under an agreement where legally permitted.
The customer may not assign or transfer its rights or obligations under an agreement without a valid reason and the prior written consent of an authorized director or management representative of THK.
No deviation, amendment, waiver, or variation of these Terms and Conditions shall be valid unless confirmed in writing by an authorized representative of THK.
Verbal statements made by individual employees or representatives shall not override these Terms and Conditions unless formally confirmed in writing by an authorized representative.
THK shall not be considered in breach of its contractual obligations where performance is prevented, delayed, suspended, or materially affected by circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include, without limitation:
Fire;
Earthquake;
Storm;
Flood;
Natural disasters;
Epidemics or pandemics;
War or threat of war;
Terrorist activity;
Civil unrest;
Insurrection;
Military action;
Government restrictions or regulations;
Nationalization;
Blockade or embargo;
Industrial disputes;
Strikes;
Lockdowns;
Power failures;
Telecommunications failures;
Internet or technology infrastructure failures; or
Other events beyond THK's reasonable control.
THK will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption and, where practical, offer alternative arrangements.
Delegates are responsible for ensuring that they can attend the training programmes they have booked. THK shall not be responsible for personal expenses, losses, or other costs incurred by a delegate as a result of their inability to attend, except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed in writing.
THK is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information provided by customers, delegates, website visitors, and business contacts.
Personal information will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
THK will not knowingly disclose personal information to unrelated third parties except where:
The individual has provided appropriate consent;
Disclosure is necessary to provide the requested service;
Disclosure is necessary to process a booking or payment;
Disclosure is required by law; or
Disclosure is necessary to protect THK's legitimate business interests or legal rights.
Where personal information is shared with a third-party service provider or processing partner, THK will take reasonable steps to ensure that the information is handled appropriately and only for legitimate purposes.
THK does not intentionally store complete credit or debit card information provided during a payment transaction through telephone or secure online payment interfaces, except where such storage is lawfully required and appropriately protected.
THK may communicate with relevant payment providers or financial institutions for purposes such as payment authorization, verification, fraud prevention, or transaction validation.
The processing of payment information by third-party payment providers may also be subject to their respective privacy policies and terms.
THK generally collects personal information when a customer voluntarily provides information through website forms, registration forms, enquiries, booking processes, course registrations, or other direct communications.
If a visitor begins completing an enquiry or contact form but does not submit it, certain information may be retained where technically or legally permitted. THK may use such information to respond to the enquiry that was initiated.
Where appropriate and permitted by applicable law, THK may contact individuals regarding training programmes or services that are relevant to their original enquiry or business relationship.
THK may collect technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, device information, or, where available, hostname information for security, analytics, website administration, fraud prevention, and technical purposes.
Such information is not necessarily used to identify an individual personally.
THK will not intentionally photograph, video record, or audio record delegates during a training programme for marketing purposes without appropriate prior consent.
Delegates and customers are also not permitted to photograph, video record, audio record, reproduce, or distribute training sessions, trainers, course materials, or other participants without prior written permission from THK and, where applicable, the relevant customer or rights holder.
Unauthorized recording or distribution may constitute a breach of these Terms and Conditions and may result in appropriate action.
THK uses reasonable security measures and industry-standard technologies to protect personal information and payment-related information processed through its systems and payment providers.
Payment processing may involve third-party payment service providers that maintain their own security and compliance requirements, including applicable payment-card security standards.
While THK takes reasonable steps to protect information, no internet-based system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
The THK website, including its text, graphics, designs, logos, course descriptions, training content, documents, software, images, videos, and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Unless expressly permitted in writing, visitors and customers must not:
Copy or reproduce website content;
Sell or redistribute THK materials;
Republish website content;
Download or systematically extract website content;
Modify or create derivative works;
Display THK content on another website;
Use automated systems or robots to monitor or copy website content;
Replicate or mirror the THK website on another server; or
Record or reproduce THK training sessions without prior written authorization.
All intellectual property rights relating to THK content belong to The Hub of Knowledge, its affiliated entities, licensors, partners, or applicable rights holders.
The THK website and its content are provided for general information and service-related purposes. THK does not accept responsibility for the content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices of third-party websites that may be referenced or linked from the THK website.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions grants any customer or visitor ownership of THK's intellectual property.
